You guys like games right? Well try and solve this one if you can.

The rules are:
Only 2 persons can be on the raft at a time.
The father can not stay with any of the daughters without their mother's presence
The mother can not stay with any of the sons without their father's presence
The thief (striped shirt) can not stay with any family member if the Policeman is not there
Only the Father, the Mother and the Policeman know how to operate the raft

How to Play:
To start, click on the big blue circle on the right.
To move the people, click on them.
To move the raft, click on the pole.

this seems like a super complicated version of the farmer, fox, chicken, dog problem

although, I did something like this a while back, so I'll give it a shot

Bring Thief and Policeman to other side.
Bring Policeman back.

its the retelling of a classic puzzle. It traditionally has a fox, a hen and a bag of grain. You can't leave the fox and the hen while you take the grain, there wouldn't be a hen left when you came back. Same reason you can't transport the fox.

This is no different.

Solution:

take the policeman and the criminal first, leave the criminal and take the policeman back. Then escort one gender child (girl or boy, doesn't matter) and bring back the crim. Take the last child and their parent across. Bring the parent back, send both parents over. take the other gender parent back so there's either the day or mum and all the boys/girls on either side of the river. take the cop and crim across again and bring the parent back. Send both parents across again and as before send the opposite gender parent back. Then take the opposite gender parent back across, bring them over with one of their kids. Now take the raft back with the cop and crim and escort the final child across leaving the crim. Finally use the cop to come back and get the crim to cross once and for all.

Easy.
