Teenagers are more easily swayed by emotions due to hormones. It's one of the things that plagues us.

Very true. That's why we make great dramas and anime series also. XP

Not just swayed, but it's like love and hate on steroids which are on steroids =P

If you manage to show a calm head for those 10 years, I can assure you might be a bit short =P

I really do not have the willpower to drag out "The conversations of Siiver and Me" and it's conclusive drama's, so I'll just share a quick story.

A time back in 8th, there was a boy who saw a girl. A girl who was new to this school of his, a girl who was dark haired dark skinned, was short, and wore glasses. But she radiated this utmost cuteness that took him by surprise. As the year went by, he gazed upon her every time he saw her, the short kawaii she was. He learned little by little of her by word of mouth. She liked anime and manga, she was shy yet could share with her friends, and she wasn't the type to be with a boy.

But, as that time passed by, his love for her, gazing from afar increased. Day after day it would build up in him to get the courage to say hello, but indeed he couldn't. But then, when the year was to end almost, that boy thought of a devious plan, a complicated plan that would defy the imaginations of many. He would sneak through the yearbook signings of people on the blacktop, through the sea of backbacks to hers, a blue carrier with a plush Tigger. He then rushed to tie the letter to the backpack by a string, and off he had set out.

But, in order to prevent embarrassment, he had written on the front "Do not Open Until Monday". His plan he thought, was foolproof, and he would escape his venting and embarrassment indeed.

But once again, his plan was ruined. The trust system did not work, and the girl opened the letter the very day she got it. The boy heard from his peers that he had, and now he was filled nervous, knowing that this girl was to give her ultimatrium rejection. And so, when he was dressed in uniform style, he had received a letter back in return...

*You can go ahead and PM me for the contents of that message*

And, you know the rest =P

Okay... I've ignored this thread long enough. :D lol.

Umm... my love life is (probably) permanently nonexistent. XD I asked a guy who's been my friend for a long time to turnabout a while ago (AS FRIENDS, mind you ;D )But he said no. :( I was sad after that. He'd rather be home watching Star Trek and playing WoW. Which is fine with me b/c honestly I'd rather be home watching Gurren Lagann and playing Loz. XD

I'm not sure if I like a guy right now or not... I can't really tell. We're friends but.. it's hard to tell if I want to be something more or not. Not that it really matters, anyway. High school dating is possibly the dumbest thing ever, because you go out for like a month at most and then break up and its all awkward. <.< I'm fine being single. I'll hold out for a guy who likes anime as much as I do. ;D

Well.... I know of a young married couple where the guy is into anime and his wife isn't really... and she's kind of bewildered by it (or so it seems). Certainly happily married otherwise, though.

I think the "happy love stories" that come from otaku land are between two otaku.. Like imagine finding your wife (or your husband) at your anime club.. does that come as a shock?

Take a look at the "Trainman" that is a good example of an Otaku falling in love. Smiley http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trainman

Actually... I think I'd rather have someone who likes anime. It wouldn't be as awkward that way. :D Like when I'm around normal strangers, I get uncomfortable, but when its otaku I'm perfectly okay. XD

As long as they understand that I'm fairly passionate about it, it's fine. Most of the girls I like are semi-into anime (albeit not as much as me), but they understand that it's something I'm into.

And then when I ask them out they say no. >_>
