What do you guys think about plastic surgery? I mean people fix their teeth if they are not straight... so shouldn't fixing other things on your body be acceptable as well?
Please discuss.

I'm for it, i think Pol who aren't satisfied with the way they look should have a chance to change it.
If they will really feel better about it or not is a different question tho.

I'm neutral, I guess.
Personally, I don't think i'd get plastic surgery, but if someone else wanted to get something done, I wouldn't stop them.
and yeah, if it makes them feel better, what's wrong with that? :D

Meh, do what they like. If someone wants to make themselves look like a cat for no other reason than they're nuts and they have the money to do it. let them.

well, in a very general way I am against it. I don't say it's bad or anything, I just think that, unless there is something unnatural (like a something caused by an injury), it's unnecessary. Things like straighting teeth has a certain necessity since it helps prevent teeth problems and such. Also, the procedure is non-invasive, so it's less of a problem. People who decide they don't like how they look might not stop at a single surgery, but continue on and on without ending, because every person can always find something wrong about himself. I think that it'd be best to think whether the surgery is actually important or just a whim.
On the other side, if there's something that is truly wrong some the body or that the person feels that it disturbs him\her, then a surgery might not be a bad thing after all.

Ahem, tooth extraction while awake anyone?
I just got them pulled Friday, and there still are 2 gaping holes in my top shuffle T_T.
But indeed, having a huge overbite, not being able to close your mouth naturally, and sometimes interfering with my speech was definitely a reason to fix my teeth =P. Basically any surgery that helps improve your non-emotional way of life (prosthetic limbs, organ transplants) are essential.
However, for beauty surgery (breast implants, face lift, liposuction), I believe most basically stem from low self-esteem. If it's like grossly noticeable (like OVERLY "no chance to be saved by exercise" obesity, giant burns on your face, you're growing the opposite genders parts) then it is of course justified. But if it's something such as breast implants, it's like comparing that to all those "Male Enhancement" commercials. You have something small/large about your body, suck it up! If you have a mental problem about it, go see a psych instead of chancing it with your body to fool everyone else. It's like bulimia: it has varying degrees, but you really do need to get help if it's that bad to change your body.
Like I always say, both men and women worry about their size sometimes, it's only that that women rank themselves, guys do not (mostly T_T).

There are votes coming from all sides.
Now consider this question... would you get plastic surgery?

If damage to my face caused me to have freckle-looking burns, then yes ^_^.
But seriously, only in the extreme cases that I cause a Medusa effect everywhere, and I cannot cure it naturally =P

I'm neutral about it. I'm not really up for it since I don't have any needs for it, but it's the person's body. They can do whatever they want with it.
