Ahem... Let me try to explain what shuji said, since I do have some first hand experience with this. As we all know, some Asian people are smaller then Europeans, Americans, or Australians. When I go visit China is it very difficult, if not impossible, for me to find clothes that fit me. I was only able to find a pair of sandals and a hat. (there is a place called the "Fat Peoples Shop" where I was able to buy shirts off the rack, but that was it) Now, imagine if you will an Asian, coming to one of our countries, looking for clothes.... They find it very difficult to do so since the only people that have clothes that fit them is our children. My wife, who you all know, is Chinese and she finds a horrible time trying to find clothes that fit her here. She has to go to the Jr. Miss department in order to find stuff, and when she does, the legs are two long on the pants. So, that is what Shuji meant. Since I had to explain it to you, it isn't quite as funny now. Haha well said Orion-sensei. >.> jeans are low tech clothes, they need a belt to help them (well, mostly)
and erm, I'm Asian! so is Iraq. >__> and Russia
Everyone's got a little Asian inside. I see a lot of you guys feel that plastic surgery is only needed if its an extreme case like an accident.

well, that is also an extreme that I don't think many agree with. I think that such a surgery is not only in edge cases like accidents, but on the other hand, one shouldn't be so quick to alter his\her own appearance.

Is it unethical to change your appearance?
I mean a lot of the reasons here are based on feelings. Why should we as people accept who we are?

because, if you start altering yourself, everyone would look the same, perfectly designed and nothing more. we need diversity, and if everyone starts enhancing their looks, we'll have a plastic elite with class differences. and besides, it damages evolution. and there are of course counter-arguments to that, but meh.

Evolution doesn't have to come in a natural form. Also I don't think we need diversity... more like want diversity. And everyone won't look the same. I mean you can you can't change everything. Some changes on the body won't make everyone look the same. If everyone was the same... we wouldn't have to worry about our appearance. We can base people from their character and their actions and not by how they appear.

Oh dear lord that sounds painful. >.<
:'( it was...... i got pushed over when i was at school and landed face first on solid concrete and had to go to the emergency surgery room in the dentists cuz i'd cut all of my gums and the tooth which my false tooth has now replaced was snaped in half and the nerve was hanging out the end.... it felt so bizarre, kinda like when u put something REALLY cold on your teeth but there was also a numbing fuzzy ticklish feeling....... it was uber perculiar......... and the tooth next to that had to have the root removed cuz the damage to it was so bad...... (they were my 2 front teeth, at the top) so yeah....... drills and needles and god knows what else going into your mouth and being able to feel everything because you were too small to have enough sedation......... IT WAS BLOODY PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! >.<" i don't recomend it......... @_@"
