Well, I guess technically it isn't, with two DVD specials coming, and the inevitable season two.
AnCo will be there for all of em, you can count on that my sons.

Dura has been the show we've been waiting on, as a pretty "new" group, a group where barely none have actually done fansubbing work earlier, I'm inanely proud of my team.
We've gotten far from our first try at fansubbing about a year ago with the clusterfuck that was the Gurren Lagann movie. Tip: don't do a two hour movie as your first ever fansub.

And to all you haters, I had prepared a your-mom joke for you, but you're not even worth the effort. ;<

Anyone wondering what we at AnCo will be doing next season? Errm, us too.
The summer season seriously looks like crap, the only interesting show (imo) is Highschool of the Dead, and from what my spies tell me it's going to be soooo oversubbed.
So we'll probably take some time off, do some minor stuff like the second GL movie, if there's anyone still waiting for that. lol

Also, for the batch, you'll have to wait for that for a week or two.
Pretty much we're re-encoding EVERY episode, fixing everything from official kara lyrics to minor inconsistencies, TL errors and such.

Thanks for all your hard work, guys. I take translation quality very seriously, and apart from the odd typo or mistranslation, you've really impressed me - like your use of idiomatic English, which tends to separate skilled translators from people who just happen to know Japanese.

If I could make one request for the batch edition: could you take another look at the second opening karaoke? "Nani o egaku" should be a question, like, for example, "what will you draw on the tomorrow stained black by reality?", and I don't think it can be accurately rendered as a statement the way you've done it.

I'm pretty sure I had some suggestions for the ending karaoke, too, but my storage hard drive is down so I can't look at it ATM.

Other than that, great work. I might pick a series up in the future just because you guys are subbing it.

For the second OP and ED, they haven't been updated with the official lyrics..
Mainly cos our Kara animators harddrive crashed. We'll have it fixed for the batch...probably.

I liked how it ended, and at the same time, it made me super sad because (just like Baccano) I want it to go on forever! Kida, I will for ever love you and I want Shizuo to be my baby daddy! I will say one thing (not a spoiler) Izaya's eye is CLASSIC!

Well considering how well you guys always do, Its only natural to mess up once in awhile. At least it shows us that you too are human. I'm sick of those Robot's always doing fansubs.... -_-'

Any news on that batch? Im going to be updating my archives later this week and I would really like to keep a full copy of AnCo^2's DRRR releases.

Re-encoding 24 episodes into both SD and HD version took longer than we thought .-.

Ah cool, I will wait a little longer then. Its worth the time taken  I know I will rewatch DRRR in a few years time regardless of whether there is a sequel, so I might as well have a consistent and quality archive of subs.

Anyway, I look forward to the batch and more distantly, any new shows you pick up. I think the Autumn Season looks more promising than the current summer overall for interesting shows.
