So, I watched the Nichijou OVA/preview episode...

It seems reminiscent of Azumanga in a way for me. I think I'll end up watching this. I'm hoping this will be a good comedy/slice-of-life. I always enjoy watching those types of shows.

Anyone else check this out?

I just watched it.

I like Sakamoto as a character. The whole first sketch was pretty interesting too. This should be a decent show.

I can understand the Azumanga feeling. I really enjoyed the OVA, the animation itself I thought was excellent. The parts where Mio was using excessive hand movements and the lines went darker, for something like a slice of life I wasn't expecting animation like that. When Yuuko was sent flying into the lockers at the back of the room was also really good.

I was smiling and laughing for most of the episode so I'm really looking forward for it to start.
