Quantity vs Quality-excluding energy needed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quality Most people wants our work is always of the best quality, and says quantity is less important than quality. "Quality wins to quantity." One God wins a war with a million soldiers. Or so they say.
Quantity Quantity has its on quality. "Safety in Numbers apply." We depend on each other to enchance our work.
The Question
Which is better? Quantity or Quality?

Quality. Hands down.
My argument is that consensus is no basis for accurate judgement.
A group of people could get together and build a house, it leaks, it can't keep in heat, its ugly and topples within a week. A single person could build a house by themselves and make it something that will last for centuries.
In fact, throughout history, it has been the majority of people who have worked hard to keep the status quo, and to keep individuals who have revolutionary ideas down. If it wasn't for single people with grand ideas, we wouldn't have had lightbulbs, telephones, steam trains, industry, lenses, etc...
In terms of products, you can buy a 12-pack of cheap batteries for a pound, or you can buy a set of rechargable batteries for 15 - also comes with charger. The cheap batteries will keep you going for a while but they'll die out pretty fast and you'll have to keep buying new ones. It becomes cost effective to buy the rechargable ones.
I don't think there's any way that quantity would be preferable over quality.

Quality. I'll take one decent, original, developed game over another blatant American movie knockoff anyday.

Quality has proven itself in many areas to be superior to all but OVERWHELMING quantity.
Especially in the Military. The term Force Multiplier refers to the fact that a few men with good training and equipment can stomp the floor with a hundred men easy.

I can't help but giggle I am sorry. I am a very rude minded person. I would say quality is always the way to go unless it comes to food. Sometimes the cheap stuff that you can get tonnes of tastes yummy =P
