AnCo forums: Dead

So, I'd like to declare the forums officially dead.
Last month we had 309 new posts. Probably half of em was from Fly who's the only guy keeping this place afloat anymore.


I'm tired of trying to push old members to post more on the forums, so pretty much, why don't you post anymore?

I post sometimes... I recall posting and not getting a response for days or weeks.

Now when I spam people on msn I get a response sooner.



I think it's the fact that I don't get much feedback if I post something.

i apologise if i havnt been here much recently, i have been on a 3 week vacation in Wales, UK, camping, but recently my almost non existent Anime collection has gone.

Red, message-board traffic has always been a peaks-and-valleys proposition.  It's my belief that when AnCo begins releasing manga scanlations again, traffic on the board will increase.  I know lack of message-board traffic is disheartening, but please hang in there!

I cant see why that would be the case, cos barely any of the active members read our manga.

Release episodes 25/26 for kicks, then we can make a thread rofl'ing about it =).

Don't post much anymore for some of the same reasons Shuji does: lack of actual conversation, but more of a bunch of continuing posts. Dunno how you fix that though.

I would say the main reasons why I stopped posting that much is that I have nothing interesting to talk about and some of the posts I do see I'm really not interested in.

I am also not the most talkative person in the world either. Mr. Introvert is what I am.

What is the answer to getting more people to reply? Really hard to say, but this post got me to post.

I suppose I don't post as much because I don't feel like I have a response to the topic at hand or knowing the fact that there's not much posting to begin with. I'm reluctant to make topics now since the forums are hardly ever pulsing with life anymore. What's the point in making a thread if no one will respond in it? :\

It's like high school, I visit every day but I'm no good with conversations (either I don't have any input because I think my opinion is stupid or I'd say too much making it look like I think too highly of myself) so I stay quiet.

All I can say for myself is that life is constantly my enemy. It's the true mutually exclusive dichotomy that is life.

You either have free time but no money, or money but no free time.

Seems like every now and then I pop in the forums, add a few replies, promise to be on more and then fail to deliver. I'll try and be on more but I can honestly say I don't know how effective I'll be. I will try though
