Today, at around 11:36, I was with a friend, driving to my university to attend a tournament (for me to win an extra bit of money), long story short.

as we were making a curve, this guy came, even when he stopped, he hitted us, the car's wheel broke off and ended underneath the guy's car, we ended up in the mud (well, hitting almost a tree), where I was standing, the Crystal Or however you call it broke, the bag exploded, there was smoke, my friend was bleeding from his mouth and nose, he broke apparently two tooth, and the guy who hit us said his arm hurted. it took 5-8 minutes for the police and the paramedics to arrive, my friend was worried if something had happened to me, and I just happen to had 'lost' time of what happened, shake my head, look at the environment . . . and realize what just happened. The police & medics asked about the passenger's side (where I was sitting) which was hitted horribly and asked if I was ok, and checking if I had any injuries (which I don't) 1 hour had passed, I was taken by car by one of the witnesses back home, as he stopped to drop me, he says I was lucky, I simply replied, to me, it's just another miracle, to which he stays thinking and agrees, after that, he left, I call my parents, my father nearly shitted his pants, (he's in the capital) worried asking about if I'm ok.

well, to put an end, how many times does something like this happen? or has it occur to you, if something that, where you would've ended dead, you somehow manage to survive, and live? To do think you were just lucky or it was a miracle?

here's something for all of you to discuss, and again, I'm doing fine people . . .

Glad you made it out alright man.

We're just numbers in a big random bizarre mathematical equations.

Had a friend who was in a car accident too while back, both guys in the car survived without a scratch, the doc couldn't understand how they'd survived.

Damn, Karo Rushe, I'm very glad to know you're all right!  As far as I'm concerned, such a lucky break as you encountered is just that - luck.  For example, in military combat you will either survive or you will not.  I, luckily, fell into the former category.  It has nothing to do with athleticism, bravery, intelligence, marksmanship, or miracles.  It's all a matter of luck; and the same is true when it comes to surviving a serious motor-vehicle collision.

Shocked

Consider how motor-racing greats Dale Earnhardt and Ayrton Senna died:  they had all the most up-to-date safety equipment, they weren't driving at full throttle, emergency-medical crews were on scene within moments; but both those men were unlucky.  Sure, you can "believe in miracles" and "count your blessings" but it's all down to luck.  Stay lucky!

Good to hear you're fine Kei.

There's always strange accidents where the car may be totaled and the drivers come out perfect. It's one of those "wrong person in the right place," kind of deals.
