Well you know, some people think they're useless, but hell, it's entertainment at best! Personally, I thought the opening ceremony was amazing, due to the sheer detail and execution of it all, especially when they did the countdown! (firework footprints, light-up drums sync-style, it had the works!  ). It's like 500x better than the Mass Games in NKorea! As for games... I have to cry for Japan, because we just shut them out in both Girls Volleyball and Girls Beach Volleyball in the first round! I really wanted to give them a chance at least =(. Oh, and we scored 3 medals in fencing, not sure what stance we won in though =P. And Korea played their best against Russia in handball, although it was funny to see the goalies dancing during free kicks ^_^. How 'bout you? |

Waiting to see IF Malaysia can get any Gold Medels.
I'm not sure how much Gold Medels our country targeting, IF it reach the target, we may get 1 day of public holiday as celebration.

lol Zan, it was sabre fencing that Americans won. Gold Silver AND Bronze.
China has the most golds right now I think. I've been avidly watching gymnastics (always a favorite), diving, swimming, and watched that US v. China bball today. That was amusing. NBA is pretty ridiculous.
