Hey all,

My goodness, it has probably been 3-4 years since I last logged in here... I remember when before I left to do my own business, the title 'AnimeCouncil' became 'AnimeCouncil^2', and AC ended fansubbing, while went on to start in Manga, which I see still does today *thumbs up*. Even though I left, I still seeded some of AC's earliers manga on torrent for another 3 months

I thought I might as well visit AC, just to see how things have changed and went, and since I have so much free time, I thought I might try and post again and see how I go lol.

So what happened to me when I left? A summary:

- Graduated High School in 2006
- Continued to read Negima works
- Failed to enter First Choice Uni (University of Sydney), went onto my 4th choice in 2007
- Entered First Choice Uni in 2008, but did badly in cource
- Still continued to read Negima works
- Changed course in 2009 to my current one but havent changed
- Travelled to Japan this year after two unsuccessful attempts since Graduation
- Have a girlfriend <--- o_0 5 years ago I said I had no hope lol
- Only had two jobs in my lifetime, 48 attempts in getting a job since graduation, till getting my first one in 2009

I guess thats it...

Oh wow... I have to check the main site to see lol. If I do have time later, I could have a go at fansubbing, did learn a lot of After Effects and other video works in the last few years, though not a lot of major film projects

AFX is still a bit new to me, but my lecturer at the moment, is showing me some good links with the other programs, notably Illustrator. I'm starting to understand how other fansubbers can make a good replica of a title of anime and use that same font.

Having said that, my computer is currently in the repair shop due to a thunderstorm having a huge impact on it. Currently using my mum's very old laptop, so it may take a while, and I got some assignments still to balance.

But hell, when things get better, I'll see if I can have a go at it. I'd probably watch some Durarara first though, just to see how its made. XD

90% of all signs are done with either scale, position, rotation, opacity and some masking, pretty basic animations.

Well that's the AE part, more importantly is probably your photoshop skills, but ye know, if we team up some time I'll handle that part.
