(At work, I have a name tag on my chest big enough to see and a large name printed on it) I get a lot of "Do you work here?"
My job tends to attract a lot of dumbasses in the area. You would think you saw every stupid thing in the world, but you will be wrong on how small of an achievement that would be if you had my job. I have a lot of weird customers, and some are mental.
One lady complained to the manager that the customer in front of her was taking too long to use her credit card.
98% of the customers don't read the fine print on price tags on clearance and discounted items. Then they would get mad and cuss at us workers for their "mistakes", not ours. It doesn't take a magnifying glass to read it, the font size is 24. Just to be technical, the default font size used on websites is 12.
Asian customers would open up a perfectly new package when there's a display of it nearby. They would inspect it, give a nod of approval, set it down, leave a mess, and pick up another new package and walk away. One word that always comes across my mind when I see that, "F***ers"
Oh, finally, this one takes the Darwin award. This one customer, a young lady, picks up a reed diffuser, (for those that don't know what that is, it's a little glass bottle with scented oil with little wooden sticks inside that gives off scents like a candle)
Well, this lady, she picks up the bottle, smells it. Everything is normal you know, next thing I know, I see her lifting it up to see the bottom of it, I guess she couldn't see it clearly, so she turns it over and ends up spelling all the scented oil on her arm. I like, 'damn it, what a stupid lady. I have to clean that up.' So before I can started getting pissed off, she freaks out. She calls for a manager and starts yelling to the manager to call 911, that her skin is starting to "burn" from the oil and that she might lose her arm.

WTF?! I just left with a two hands on my face.

In the end, we only cleaned her arm with warm water and alcohol. Took the managers 1 hour to calm her down and another hour till she left the store.
