Red, if I was more of a music junkie. (I used to be one, back in the day.) These past several years, however, I've discovered my all-over-the-map musical tastes aren't shared by on-line music providers — legitimate or otherwise.
Audiogalaxy was a glaring exception, back before its owners found the religion of capitalism in 2002 and stopped sharing files: It was a wonderful place, but its usefulness has been extinct these past nine years and nobody's stepped up to take its place.
Soulseek, for example, is but a faint shadow of what
Audiogalaxy used to be.

Perhaps
Spotify reflects the broad musical tastes once evident at
Audiogalaxy? But if so, it now comes at a price. Anyway, it's good to know
Spotify finally got off its lazy-ass butt and decided to do business in the U.S. That's something it should have done a long time ago; and if it had, the following problem would have already been resolved:

The new U.S. motto, inspired by our lovely capitalistic power-elite, is: Avarus et Plumbeus ("Greedy and Stupid"). The rest of the world's power elites are, of course, scrambling to catch up. But, as usual, I digress....
