Well, it really won't consume any more power then a 17 inch LCD.(if that)

And yes, the price kills it, but the nice fact that they can sell you the keys individually so you can buy what you can afford and go from there. Even having the 10 hot keys would be enough for me really.
o_o;
you know, I COULD get another LCD screen for that and it'd be a much better use of most things.
(woot another screen! :O)

for the power consumption I mean compared with a normal keyboard. it must need more than that

Of course it does.... A standard keyboard gets it's power from the system. This one would get extra power from an outlet.

Depends on what you need it for.
Should it be for gaming? Like really new games.

Just about any laptop would do for doing video and general schoolwork. If you were doing more things like games, then I would consider looking at getting a laptop that has graphic capability to play the games that you would want to play. Most laptops don't have a removable video card, but there are some high dollar ones that do.  I would just go with one that would give you the best stuff for the money you pay.

Ringgit to U.S. Dollar exchange is 3-1 So taking that into account it is a little over 8 hundred US dollars. So I would consider it a good deal, although I don't get why they would want to partition the drive... What is the size of the screen.

And yes, they do make 160 gig drives for laptops... Actually, I think they go up to 500 + if I am not misstaken.

12 inch Screen.
The smaller the better to me since I have to carry it around with my bicycle.
Partition to save backup files for C:\ Installations & keep Datas so when format C:\ wont be headache to move them from C:\ to D:\ or E:\

Makes more sence to use the DVD/rw for that though Evangel... If the hard drive goes, all your files go. Back up to DVD's Much easier.

Well, I am not refering to that Evangel, I am talking about any files you install on the computer AFTER the install. It really makes no sence to have three partitions on a drive unless you are installing multiple OSes
