Just thought I'd let anyone know who plays with a PS3 that this is what happened.  Also, it wasn't Anon that did it.

Everyone thought it was anon too...

Did anybody here in the forums have anything super important on their accounts such as credit card info or anything? Luckily I haven't kept any info on there, but who knows how much they could have retrieved.

I had no credit card info on there, but it still kinda freaks me out that they have my address and such (though probably my old address...) Kinda surprised this happened on Sony's watch...

I tend to trust that my details are safe so my card details were on there.

I don't have any money anyway..

and thats why sony should have brough out those awful scratch card things that the xbox uses. its a shame, as its an amazing console, and just gets ruined by stuff like this, though i can imagen that the xbox is next, better start deleting some info.

Sony has prepaid cards.

Even though I'm not a gamer, Orion, I appreciate learning about this latest World O' Electrons failure.  Maybe we'll all be writing checks again and putting them in the mail, instead of "swiping" cards or entering user names and passwords.

Undecided

ah yes, they did have the pre paid cards, but it took them 2 years to launch them. though apparently there was no credit card info stolen, only name, age, address, and everything else they need to get your details.
