I'm reminded of the cathedral scene from Fritz Lang's feature film
Metropolis (Berlin: Universum Film AG, 1927) wherein statues representing the Seven Deadly Sins (anger, envy, greed, gluttony, lust, pride, sloth) come alive....
Your surreal depictions of those sins are just as scary and certainly more thought provoking than the suddenly-animated statues from
Metropolis 84 years ago. I think you're definitely on to something!
