And the BGM for that scene was freakin' awesome. I want the OST so badly.

I loved how Izaya was waiting behind the gate for who-knows-how-long just to see Mikado, stomps on that delinquent like a squeaky toy, then makes motorcycle sounds while walking behind Mikado. Best comic relief ever, perhaps?

I enjoyed how Izaya was like "Well, I assumed he was..." and Celty was confused about it. Mikado had a duel-personality kinda thing going on when he flipped on the awesome switch. lol

Now that 11 is out... I'd like to indulge you with my hypothesis on the whole Celty-head-thing.
There's been something that's been nagging me since ep 8.. >_>


First, Namie, Seijis sister.. Why in hell would she put Celtys head on his stalkers dead body?
Second, why does "Head-Celty" have a thing for Seiji? Makes little sense to me honestly.


Now, they never actually showed how badly injured Seijis stalker was, she might just have been unconscious when his sister "took care of her".
Now, considering I'm pretty confident my theory could be right, I'll keep a spoiler tag over it.

Spoiler for Hiden:

First of all, they never show that she's really dead.
Celtys head never had a "thing" for Seiji, as far as I can tell. His stalker sure as hell did.
So, considering that Namie is a fucking bitch, and a scientist at a pharmaceutical company...
I believe plastic surgery is considerably easier to do than to stitch on a head.

Could it be possible that Namie was all like:
"If you wanna be with Seiji you'll have to act like you're Celty and we're going to reshape your head to look like hers."

I really doubt the real Celty would cry tears of joy (as seen in ep8) to be with an idiot like Seiji, and as far as I can tell Celty can't really speak.



So, she's just posing as Celty cos she wants to be with Seiji, and the only way that would happen is if he though she was Celty.
And that solves quite some trouble for Namie, since Seiji wont try and steal the damned head again. >_>

Episode 13 was good. A new OP+ED, brought in some new characters and a cute Celty moment. :3

So Anri is the Slasher? That's the impression I got with it's weird movement of the slasher at the end. As if it was just rising out of the shadows or something.

Shinra's dad is a weird character, and is that cop guy. Is there a new girl to come? The one on Kida's and Izaya's phone in the OP and behind Izaya in the ED. Did I miss her introduction in the episode?

She was involved in an episode awhile back when Izaya visited her. Apparently, she's Kida's girlfriend. Shinra's dad is an asshole.

In ep14 they explain the whole Saika-legendary-sword thingy and how it possesses people.
Id say that at the end of ep13 the sword gets passed along to Anri from the previous Slasher, and possesses her.. Maybe. >_>
I'm pretty confident it's Anri at least.
