How about a free T-shirt?

I ordered an official licensed T-shirt -- Gurren-lagann Movie Edition Guren-hen Yoko`s Skull T-shirt Black L (Anime Toy) -- but the largest size they carried or were ever going to carry was, well, large.  I knew it might be too small, since I require extra large these days and especially since it was coming from Japan where all sizes are at least one size smaller than stated; but the Devil made me order it anyway.  It arrived today.

Yes, it's too small.  However, it can be yours absolutely free of charge!  I'm spreading the Yoko love!  Bear in mind the shirt has been worn once, by me and for less than one minute, since I had to try it on when it arrived.  (I am free of communicable diseases.)  It's back in its box, folded, inside its wrapper, waiting to depart for ... somewhere.  Here below are the front-and-back views, with Official Scrutineer cat Blue appraising the article and deeming it worthy:

So, here's the deal:

If you want that shirt, reply to this entry and state "I want the T-shirt!"  This coming Thursday evening I shall write respondents' names on individual pieces of paper, wad them up individually and cast them as a bunch onto the floor.  Whichever one is first moved by either cat Blue or cat Tonya will be declared the lucky recipient of the shirt!

The winner will be announced here, in this thread.  The winner must then provide me their name and mailing address; and they must promise the shirt will never be put in a garage sale, given to a charity shop, thrown away, or otherwise gotten rid of (except as a gift to someone who intends to wear it and who will make the same promise regarding its future).  I'll bring the shirt to the post office on Friday.  If nobody wants the shirt, or if it turns out it's being used in any disrespectful manner, I shall run away from home and never be seen again.  Or not....

I would love a t-shirt. I'm running out of clean ones...

I joke. This is very generous of you to give it away.

Red, I can appreciate your not wanting to have such a T-shirt.  An editorial distance must be maintained, yes?

Grin

MoMor, you are not too late.  Applications will be taken until sometime Thursday evening (Pacific Time Zone).  You're signed up!

Cool

Red, the cat in her entirety is not included.  However, certain artifacts original to the cat -- e.g., strands of fur -- will undoubtedly be present on the T-shirt.  This could not be helped, hence no fee will be charged the winner for receipt of such hair.

Roll Eyes

Hikaru, you are signed up!  Be warned!

Shocked

Karin, now I don't know whether you want the T-shirt or not; but Article 32 (Paragraph 126) of the Giveaway Rules states that once you're signed up, you're signed up and cannot be unsigned.  So ... there!

Wink

Kov, consider yourself signed up!  (Your reason for wanting the T-shirt is similar to my reason for being glad it arrived.  The size mismatch, my body to the shirt, may force me into doing laundry.)

Undecided

well, I'm not especially tall, but I have broader than normal shoulders (yea, it's the shoulders, not the stomach where most shirts fail). So maybe Japanese large might just fit.

looking forward to the lot, lol.

Well my GL shirt (which I treasure above all shirts), is a Small, and it fits me perfectly. I wonder if I should still want this large.. =__=''

I was kind of joking when signing up, because I would definitely get in trouble if I received a random awesome tee. As much as I desire such a tee.. T__T

Now MoMor, don't make me contact Yomako at Koreha Island on your account!  You signed up so you're in the drawing -- or pawing, as it were.

Grin

You can always decline to accept the shirt, but not until after the drawing on Thursday evening; and then it would go to the cats' second choice -- and so on and so forth.  This drawing, by the way, covers six Web sites and will be broadcast live on all major radio and television networks!*
