So whatcha guys think of the ending? I think it was one of the better endings Ive seen in quite a while. No idea how that Alphard could have survived tho.. But then again, she is some kind of super human. >_>
And imo this ending provided closure, but could still open up for a sequel.

Perhaps they're planning for another season or something soon. Who knows...
I don't know how the VN scenario ended (if it was the same or what) but I'd like to find out and compare 'em. Anyhow, the ending was pretty good imo. It was interesting to see how Maria had become a photographer and she had some sort of gallery showing going. Also cool to see Canaan still kickin' it, but with a new hair style. xP

Man, I thought the new song they had towards the end worked really well in terms of atmosphere. I can't believe Cummings became a buddhist monk, too! That was surreal.

Indeed. A masochistic terrorist into a monk? Strange if you ask me. xP

I'm happy the taxi driver got some screen time in the final episode too. He didn't fail to be awesome either (crying while listening to an idol song... lol).

I didn't like how Canaan's new hairstyle was so much like Alphard's..
Hahaha Alphard must have been thinking, after tumbling off a train at high speed into the rushing currents of water or whatever, landing on hills and waterfalls, and then getting washed up at some bay, with her arm shot off and bleeding intensely, "WHY THE HELL AM I STILL ALIVE!"
AND why did she still pursue a life of evil afterwards (or at least that's what it insinuated..)! You'd think she'd learn her lesson by now..
When Cummings became a monk me and my sister both felt saddened.. lol he was a good guy I guess...
The end left some plot holes like Maria and Alphard's relationship.. that never got explained. I'm hoping for a second season or an OVA or something.
The clone near the end that just appeared and died in one episode was amusing, too. Anticlimax..

I viewed it as if Alphard didn't have any choice in the matter. I liken her situation to a prison inmate who finally gets out after years inside but ends up being unable to cope with life; she probably got in too deep and wouldn't be able to adjust to a normal/civilly responsible lifestyle. That or she's an idealist or something and doesn't wanna give up on her vision.
I personally was happy Cummings became a monk--he found inner peace and didn't get killed.

Yeah I was really happy that Cummings became a monk too.. his ending with Liang Qi was sad.
Poor Alphard.. I wonder if she's finally free from Sham yet. SHE BETTER BE
