Speedsubbers and speedscanlators are the disgrace of the anime/manga scene.
They're all about download numbers and being first, rather than quality, and doing something you can be proud of.
That's my take on it.

Well for anyone curious about when we're getting the GL movie done..
Well its in quality control stage..and have been for a week.
Since its our first fansub ever, the QC was a bit (read=alot) heavier than expected.
But we'll have it done sometime next week, or heads will start falling. >_>
And well, we dont want to release anything that dont go up to our standards.

Ahh I don't like speed subbers either, but if they can do relatively okay job then it's alright. I feel sad though when an anime I'm watching only has speed subbers and no decent sub group is picking it up  Very saddening. Take your time with the movie guys! Are there any other groups subbing it (other than BSS) as well? o: I'll get to watch it after exams! \o/ |
