Gurren-lagann Yoko [Space Look] & Gunbee (PVC Figure)

Actually, it's "Yomako" rather than "Yoko."  By the time she was driving her hovercycle Gunbee and wearing her space-look attire, Yoko had already moved to Koreha Island and taken the name Yomako.  But yes, she was still the Yoko Ritona we came to know and love as a freedom fighter during the war of independence.

Yet even though she played a major role in winning that war, there came a time when Yoko needed to distance herself from war and warriors - hence the name change and her move to that remote island.  Everybody on Koreha Island came to know her as Yomako-sensei, the intelligent and likable primary-school teacher.  She did, however, reveal her military past when she successfully defended the island from a mechanized attack by criminals and subsequently rescued former comrades-in-arms from unjust imprisonment on the mainland.

To carry out those commando actions Yomako changed into her "battle bikini" attire and armed herself.  After destroying the mechanized attackers, her friends and neighbors on Koreha Island realized their beloved school teacher was Yoko Ritona - hero of the recent war for liberation.  A short time later, she again took up arms and rescued her wrongfully-imprisoned friends.  Yomako-sensei returned to her new island home and went on to become principal of the school.
