Thanks a bunch, Alice, for your encouragement! I'll have to cast about in my brain's Creative Department for more writing ideas. Things have gotten a bit dusty in that office these past few decades. Yoko's helping me clean the place up, though. Stay tuned! You know, that whole "too long" thing seems to be generational. It's like the thing about refusing to watch black-and-white films. My favorite bamboozling fixation -- to quote one of my long-time younger on-line friends whom I recently visited in Canada -- is "I refuse to watch movies made before I was born." At least she writes long and very-readable Web-log entries! In the spirit of, erm, some high-minded something I present the following image -- which I shall deem to be titled.... Inter-Thread Love This is in honor of the forum's three threads which were started to recognize the three leading characters in Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. Perhaps we, or they, can form a United Characters Alliance to promote good will and understanding amongst fandom factions. It's a nice thought, anyway. =^..^=

xD haha awesome
:/ hmm you think? Personally I read a lot, and do enjoy essays and stuff, but being succinct has its points too, y'know? xP Maybe it's just because I don't like writing a lot that I think that way. I'm more of a "pictures" person than a "words" person. Right-brained ftw! xD It's not a very good mindset to rule out old stuff just because it's old. Sometimes older stuff's the best :D
woot for inter-thread lurve~~
and thankee for the dA watch <3

You are most welcome, Alice, regarding my adding you to my deviantART Watch list! I'm a spy from Pemular VII, you see, so I have to keep secret dossiers on everyone here. The desktop wallpaper seen below shows Yoko Ritona, lead female character in Hiroyuki Imaishi's 2008 feature film Gekijōban Tengen Toppa Guren Ragan [Guren Hen]. I have modified the artwork to remove character Adiane the Elegant, whom Yoko is fighting, as I consider that antagonist to be a distraction on my desktop. Adiane is much larger than Yoko and has special abilities and powers, whereas Yoko herself has only her natural abilities upon which to rely. However, without blatantly giving away the outcome of this vicious fight scene from the film, let me point out it is always extremely unwise to underestimate tough little Yoko's fighting spirit. Click on the image to download the full-sized wallpaper. =^..^=

Well, nobody's coming to this thread anymore; so I'll make this my final post. It's a photograph I made just the other day. I posted it at one of my (former) message-board haunts, OS-TAN Forums, but all I got for my trouble was 2chan/4chan cliches as replies -- so I took it down. At least a few people on deviantART liked it. I had a little story to go with it, but I'll spare all of us that bother. This thread was fun, for a while. Click on the image for a wallpaper-sized view. For the really-big version, as if anybody would actually give a shit, click here. Good-bye, little Yoko thread! =^..^=

All right, I'm back. I couldn't stay away. I am weak. 0235, all the images of Yoko Ritona I've posted to this thread and other threads (with the exceptions I'll note) are indeed "found." I'm not an artist. Some of these images come from various "Internet sources," meaning I can't remember where I got them. Others are from Danbooru and similar sites. Some come from image boards, like 4chan. Others have been ganked from deviantART. Mind, a few of the images I've posted -- Yoko climbing a flight of stairs on all fours, Yoko all torn-up looking and holding her submachine gun -- have been considerably reworked by me on GIMP 2 and Microsoft Paint. Now, the figurine photographs are all mine. Anybody who wants to take them is certainly welcome to do so! =^..^=

Oh my, 0235, this is only a small sampling of the Yoko Ritona images out there! Squillions of them exist. There are also screen captures of the anime series, the best ones I've found so far being at Box of Doom. However, the gal whose Web log that is has progressed only through episode 5; but she told me yesterday she'll be starting up on that project again very soon. Click on the image to obtain a view of the original size.Bear in mind the fact that most screen captures will be spoilers for you! =^..^=
