Heh, I'm really not into politics so it all meas nothing to me. I did however see the real version of this poster in Manchester with a strange brown smear over Cameron's face. I wonder what that was...

Is he the dude who came up with the idea of shutting down all the various promotions at bars in order to curb binge drinking? Or is he like Britain's version of George W. Bush, albeit not commander-in-chief?

I'm not sure actually. All I know is that he tried to 'down with the kids' and tried doing some pretty stupid things. One I remember was his 'hug a hoodie' campaign. Not sure if you've seen the types of people here that patrol the streets thinking they're really cool, dressed all in adidas black clothes, hoods up, hand in crotch area, etc. These are kids ranging from primary school to near University, so like 11 year olds to 18 year olds. Bluntly, it pisses me off just looking at them, they're just a nuisance. Anyway, his campaign was to hug these people or something. I don't know how well that faired. Another thing he did to try and appeal to the younger audience was a sort of 'weblog'. I've got nothing to say about that. Oh, also he tried to do something about how everyone is obese and tried to encourage people to cycle to work, etc. I'm pretty sure that failed to inspire anyone. I'm not one to say anything about these people though, I've got no real interest in politics. I know I should because it could affect the way I live in the future but I'm really not bothered.

Kov, I don't blame you for not being interested in politics. On the national level, no matter which country or political party, official governance is uniformly a millionaire's club. Such people haven't a clue as to how the vast majority of citizens live, how they cope with life's challenges, etc.; and if they did know such things once upon a time, they've forgotten - by happenstance or selectivity. They talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk. The editor of an alternative-journalism newspaper, to whom I submitted free-lance articles years ago, had a favorite quote: "Don't vote. It only encourages them." Politicians don't represent you and I, they represent corporations and the ruling class. So yeah, politics are nothing but cow pies which the corporate mainstream media of communication insist smell good. =^..^=

That sounds hilarious. The idea of making people like that feel more awkward, forcing them to change who they are seems kinda Japanese to me.

The Japanese just ignore what's different. Or start underground campaigns about it that very few know about until it appears on mainstream TV, then everyone jumps on the bandwagon.
