Okay...so this happened a few weeks ago, in my opinion the guy was okay though a bit annoying in promoting this site animeftw.tv.

For a basic synopsis of what happened:
A person named David hops onto the AnCo^2 Rizon chan looking for the MKV and MP4 of the latest Durarara release at the time. He then started talking about some site he claims was awesome 'animeftw.tv', when asked about the site, he says it is a anime streaming site which re-encodes releases into DivX so there is no supposed quality loss. It's brought up that if converting to anything from H.264 that there is going to be some quality loss. There's a lot more in it like streaming is better than downloading it somehow, and how donations on a site like that aren't really good since they don't go to anything but the site itself. Others in the convo brought up that some money could go to either fansub groups whose subs they are using (w/o permission), charity groups, or the Anime companies in the US (since the site afaik is located in the US and is for US audiences).
