I think NOD32 was mentioned somewhere, dunno, it is said to be good.
I like AVG because it's reasonably good, and Router comes with its problems.

AVG has been abandone in my College since there is plenty virus plant almost WHOLE computer labs. (5 labs)
I'm been using the EVIL Norton >change> AVG >change> Avast << still using it.
Avast very sensitive, Thumdrive, External Harddisk , CD/DVD even those downloaded files from Torrent with virus/spyware infected, it will alert you.

idunno AVG seems good, it's just that it doesn't alert when it finds viruses.

haven't heard of it, looks interesting.

well, for the most part, my computer isn't infected and so AV are not so useful.
a firewall or a router does all the job

Avast and NOD32 havent work at all for my, and Norton is a ass, it let my PC get screw three times by the same virus, and the first programm that fell upon the mighty of that friking virus, was Norton itself, those three times.

McFee how whatever is called worked really great on my laptop, is a shame than the damn thing expired pretty fast. Now I have it with Bitdefender which kinda failed sometimes when some virus took over, but my skill got rid of those
