alright here's the thing,

I'm in school most of the day and for some reason they have some kind of firewall/portblocking enabled on our school's internet connection meaning i can't connect to irc during a large portion of the day T_T

it mostly seems to block outbound conections (i can direct download but can't connect to game servers or use torrents)

so i was wondering if anyone knew an effective way to connect to irc by bypassing this.
