Limewire, DC, torrent? Use google instead!

Some of you might know this trick but I'm sure most of you don't.

You can use google to find almost any song out there, and a lot of other stuff.

Go to www.google.com and type this in:


intitle:"index.of" (mp3|avi|mp4) word.to.search.for -htm -php -asp -html -cf -jsp

Red: This part makes google just search in directories.
Green: This is what types of file you want to look for.
Purple: The search word(s), instead of space use dots.
Brown: This is for preventing spam sites and for you to only find directories.


Now lets try this out! One of my favorite songs is Blind Guardian - And then there was silence.
So to find that song i copy the code above and put "and.then.there.was.silence" in instead.

Also since i don't want any avi or mp4 files i just have the mp3 on there.
So the code would be: intitle:"index.of" (mp3) and.then.there.was.silence -htm -php -asp -html -cf -jsp

So google that and you will get (at least i did) 3 links to fileservers with direct download of this song, usually with the whole album.


You can use this for more or less everything, and btw, look out for spam sites, not all links work.
