OK well I'm sure a few people have different ways to view manga. Some people use windows picture and fax viewer, others load up the pages one by one. I recommend however, CDisplay Comic Reader http://www.geocities.com/davidayton/CDisplayYou can get a download from the above site I think. If nothing else you can google it. Its really convenient, runs the pages in sequence and you can open .zip and .rar files and view the images without ever decompressing the file (unless you have .zip or .rar files inside the original archive, in which case you have to remove them first - like if you have downloaded a volume rather than a chapter) You can choose backgrounds, and you can just move to the next page with the roll of a mouse wheel. If you have low resolution, you can make the image fit the size of the screen or stretch it either vertically or horizontally so you can read everything that's on the page. You can choose the background of the image so its not too bad on the eyes (personally i prefer black but then, I would) and can view most types of image. Its what i use and I've found it an extremely useful tool, so if you don't have it already, go get it.

I have actually perfer reading manga from books... And cause I haven't red so much manga from my screen i've been satisfied with just the windows picture and fax viewer... But this CDisplay is very convinient..
Reading manga from screen has just become much more tolerable... for that I thank you ^^

really, there isn't many Manga readers out there. I would like to find on for that new Sony E-book reader. If I could find one for that I would go out and buy one of the sony readers in a New York minute.

If I could find one for that I would go out and buy one of the sony readers in a New York minute. I'm not sure what it's like in the states, but up here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, there are a LOT of people who read manga. There's places that have entire FLOORS dedicated to just manga. There aren't many people my age (around 21) who don't have a general idea of what manga is, even if they don't read it. I did notice, however, going in to comic shops down in the states when we went down to Florida by train a couple years ago, that they had very little-no manga which would make me a very sad person if I lived down there. I walk into phoenix comics up here and go down to the basement and the ENTIRE basement is filled with shelves that go from the floor to the roof with manga! There probably isn't a licensed series those guys don't carry... And like, even Chapters, in the last year, has expanded their section for graphic novels out of Japan and Korea to cover all the popular series out there (even if they aren't as diligent with keeping their stock levels up as Phoenix) There isn't a single book store I know of in town that doesn't have some... I might have to take a couple pictures the next time I go to phoenix comics just to show you I'm really not exaggerating XD

After reading reviews on the Sony Ebook reader I am not so sure I'd get it.... I have the money now, but for just a little more I could buy a used Tablet PC that would do the same thing + Windows and I wouldn't have to worry about compatibility with Manga that I would download.

I recommend ComicRack, it allows you to make a library of all your manga/graphic novels/comics in it and displays them nicely. Other cool features, allows for displaying two pages at once can tell it when you are reading something like a manga (so it will go right-to-left then), think of it like iTunes but it's not from Apple and not for music. http://comicrack.cyolito.com/
